Ultrasound shear-wave elasticity imaging (SWEI) can measure tissue elasticity noninvasively and quantitatively.

Our group seeks to achieve improved diagnostic outcomes for SWEI and other functional imaging techniques by novel signal processing and system design.

Cancer therapy can be safe, noninvasive and effective with high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), as HIFU can selectively and noninvasively ablate tumors.

We focus on the developement of HIFU technologies for real-time guidance and effective cancer therapy.
